Cattle Country Farm Park enhances customer experience with Beyonk Integration
Background
Cattle Country Farm Park was opened in 1992 by the Cullimore family; they were looking for ways to diversify their farming business and decided to open their farm to the public and local schools to showcase rare breeds of cattle.
In addition to the farm park itself, alongside Cattle Country Farm Park is a wedding venue called The Barn at Berkeley. This diversification reflects a strategic approach to catering to various customer needs and enhancing revenue streams.
The management team initially opted for an integrated system to handle multiple aspects of the business, including ticketing, memberships, and sales. However, they encountered challenges with system performance and functionality, particularly regarding ticketing and smooth operations.
Beyonk Cattle Country has grown from a small open farm, to one of the best family attractions in the area with over 130,000 visitors each year.
The challenge
The main challenge prompting the search for a new ticketing system a couple of years ago was the limitations of the previous system, which aimed to handle multiple functions but lacked effectiveness, particularly in user-friendliness and integration with the farm park's website. The old system forced customers to navigate away from the site to make bookings, resulting in a disjointed experience with a white-labeled site.
The team sought a better ticketing system that could seamlessly address these issues by offering simplicity, mobile compatibility, and website integration. The goal was to enhance the booking experience for customers with a user-friendly system for the Cattle Country team to use. At the same time, the team also transitioned their till system to EPOS Now across the Farm Park, Café, Gift Shop and Wedding Venue of which, Beyonk has a seamless integration.
The benefit for us is it is a really simple system to use, both for our team and visitors. It's built for mobile and integrates seamlessly with our website.
